FLAMENCO ROOM

Flamenco is the epitome dance of life versus death.  It expresses the desire to live in the border line of existence, just as a bullfighter when confronting the bull.  It manifests a naked state of the human being:  life and death facing each other.  It represents the constant fight between opposite forces.  In Flamenco Room, women are constantly confronting their fears, either if these are physical or emotional.  Since all of them are fairly recent dancers, flamenco, with its mathematical rhythm and its great demand for concentration and anticipation, represents an enormous challenge for all these women.
